Machine Operator

Starting pay is $26.18/hr with an increase to $27.74/hr after successful completion of training.

Paid weekly plus annual bonus.

SHIFT: 3rd shift 6:40pm to 5:10am Monday - Thursday RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and run Production Equipment, making changes to different inputs to manufacture paper expanded honeycomb (cardboard) from raw materials.

Perform a variety of manufacturing tasks including logging data into the computer and moving product through the system.

Ensure a high-quality product is coming off the machine.

Follow all safety rules and policies, make suggestions to improve safety and look out for fellow employees' safety.

Assist other departments as needed.

Problem solve when issues with the equipment arise.

Other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED.

Some industrial experience.

Works well in a team environment.

Ability to work 3rd shift.

Strong mechanical aptitude and be good communicator.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience operating corrugated printing equipment.

Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment, with an understanding that temperatures and volumes of work may vary.
