Part-Time Instructor - Mountaintop Truck Driving Institute

Are you an experienced CDL driver looking to share your knowledge and help shape the next generation of commercial drivers?

Garrett College is seeking Part-Time CDL Instructors to support our Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training program at the Mountaintop Truck Driving Institute (MTDI) in Grantsville, MD.

Position Details: * Schedule: 2 days per week (8:00 a.m.

- 4:00 p.m.) * Location: Mountaintop Truck Driving Institute (MTDI), Grantsville Role Overview: As a CDL Instructor, you'll play a critical role in preparing students for entry-level careers in commercial driving.

You'll provide hands-on instruction in: * Pre-trip inspections * Yard skills and backing maneuvers * Over-the-road driving techniques * Basic logbook and map-reading skills Program Highlights: * Class A Program: 210 hours over 7 weeks (Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.) * Class B Program: 6 days of instruction * Students train using Garrett College trucks and test on-site Why Join Us?
