This position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the classroom while working under the supervision of a certified teacher.
The role supports the development of teaching skills, classroom management strategies, and professional growth in a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities * Assist certified teachers with lesson planning, instruction, and classroom management.
* Provide support to students individually or in small groups to enhance learning outcomes.
* Lead classroom activities under the guidance and supervision of the mentor teacher.
* Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and professional development sessions as required.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to student progress and classroom activities.
* Actively engage in reflective practices to improve teaching strategies and student outcomes.
* Adhere to school policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Qualifications * Education: * Must hold a valid Substitute Teacher License (required). * Actively enrolled in an accredited teacher preparation program.
* Progress Requirements: * Demonstrate consistent progress in the teacher preparation program by providing evidence of passing scores each semester.
* Skills and Competencies: * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
