Season Dates Spring (Early March - Early June 2026) Practices: Monday - Friday and some Saturdays Job Duties and Responsibilities * 2+ years coaching experience at the club or high school level.
* Competency to work with athletes of all levels of skill and ability * Availability for the entire season, including post season play if qualified.
Mon - Fri from 3:00-6:30pm * Strong communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, parents, community members, and students.
* Responsible for all matters pertaining to the organization and administration of coaching an athletic team.
* Understanding of and agreement with the Bloomington Public School District's Student Activity and Athletic Code and the Coaches/Advisors Handbook.
* Plan, accompany, and supervise the team to and from all events including practices and competitions.

Enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behaviors at all times and establish activity penalties for breach of such standards by individual students.
* Enforce all rules of the Minnesota State High School League and Bloomington Public Schools as they pertain to the respective sport.
* Willingness to build passion of the sport through development * Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.
Specific Duties: Specifically this position will be responsible for assisting the head coach and other assistance; working with all levels of Softball players from C-squad to Varsity.

This includes but is not limited to setting up practices, supervision of athletes at practices and games; care and maintenance of program equipment; regular meetings with other coaches to evaluate goals of the overall program.
