Join our dedicated dental team as a Dental Assistant, where you'll provide essential support in both clinical and administrative functions.
Working under general supervision in an outpatient setting, you will assist in direct patient care, registration, and specialized dental procedures assuring high-quality service and a positive patient experience.

Computer experience is desirable.
Ability to work with a culturally diverse group of people.
Hepatitis B vaccination with proof of immunity or proper opt-out documentation (per Ohio State Dental Board) Essential Functions and Basic Duties: * Prepare dental operatories for patient treatment and assist dentists during procedures.
* Sterilize instruments and disinfect treatment areas following established infection control protocols.
* Perform patient intake, obtain medical histories, take oral X-rays, and prepare patient charts.
* Maintain inventory of dental supplies and medications.
* Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
* Assist with front office tasks including appointment scheduling and patient check-in.
* Support outreach efforts, including mobile dental services (may include driving a company vehicle). * Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and all clinic safety/infection control standards.
* Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction efforts.
* Perform routine maintenance and checks on dental equipment.
Work Environment: Work is primarily sedentary, demanding sitting, walking, lifting, and bending.
Those physical movements and the degree of mobility, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination commonly associated with duties in an office setting will be performed repetitively.
This also includes bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, pulling, pushing, and walking.
The ability to distinguish letters and symbols and utilize telephones, computer terminals, fax machines, and copiers is required.
