(PT) Assistant Women's Basketball Coach - WVU Keyser

Potomac State College (WVU Keyser), part of the West Virginia University system of campuses, located in Keyser, WV is seeking applications for a part-time Assistant Women's Basketball Coach.

About the Opportunity: The Assistant coach will assist the head coach and athletics director in all daily operations of the PSC women's basketball team and also as needed in the Athletics Department.

What you'll do: * Daily responsibilities of coaching their sport * Run practices according to the college mission * Coach in games and travel with team * Drive passenger vans as needed for team travel * Assist in the recruitment and retention of student-athletes * Abide by NJCAA, WVU, and Potomac State policies and procedures * Perform other duties as assigned Appointment Length: 10 months Work Hours: 5.5 hours per week * Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience * A minimum of one (1) year experience playing or coaching at the college level * Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.

* All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing.

* Basic knowledge of the following computer programs: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.

* Thorough knowledge of office machinery.

* Ability to work independently.

* Ability to complete tasks that have set deadlines.
