POSTING OF VACANCY Teaching Assistant (Substitute 6-12 weeks) Teaticket School 30 hours a week (10 months) 2025-2026 School Year QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma.

* Ability and desire to work with children with Special Needs.

* Ability to take direction from and work under the supervision of one or more teachers.

* Safety Care, CPR and first aid training preferred or willing to be trained.

* Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.

RESPONSIBILITIES: * Work in a small group and/or on a one-to-one basis with students as assigned by the teacher.

* Willingness to be trained in specific behavioral techniques.

* Attend in-service training sessions that pertain to special education.

* Work with and support students and teachers in classrooms.

* Perform such other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the classroom teacher and/or the Principal.
