Position: Physiatrist (PM&R)

Job Type: Full-time

Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physiatrist to join team as a consulting physician. This is a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care at a state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital. The facility specializes in recovery and therapy for patients with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic trauma, and complex medical conditions.

Position Highlights:

Provide inpatient physiatry consultation in a brand-new acute rehabilitation hospital

Collaborate closely with the Medical Director, CEO, and interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care

Maintain medical oversight in alignment with CMS, The Joint Commission, and hospital policies

Customize treatment plans for patients recovering from neurologic, musculoskeletal, and complex medical conditions

Qualifications:

MD or DO with active medical licensure in the state of Arkansas or ability to obtain

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)

One of the following required:

Completion of a PM&R residency

One-year rehabilitation fellowship

One-year internship and two years of experience treating inpatient rehab patients as part of a team
