Adjunct, Vascular Technology Department: Health and Public Service Pay Classification: PT - Hourly Reports To: Dean of Health and Public Services FLSA Status: Exempt Job Summary: Responsible for the success of the total teaching/learning process within the assigned classroom, lab, and other learning environments.
Minimum Required Education: Associate's degree within the instructional area being taught.
Registry in Vascular Sonography.
Minimum Required Experience: Preferred: Experience teaching in higher education within the instructional area being taught.
Core Duties and Required Knowledge: Working knowledge of the guidelines of the state agency/accrediting agency for the departments with regulation from outside agencies.
Working knowledge of all regulations in adherence to required licenses and certifications.
Working knowledge of the Hill College vision and mission.
Strategic Vision and Program Development: Contributes to the development and review of the curriculum.
Contributes to the course syllabi and textbooks adopted for each course.
Maintains familiarity with recent publications and journals and participates in local or national professional societies and meetings where appropriate Collaboration: Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
