**Job Description:**

United Trades of America is seeking skilled **Sheet Metal Mechanics** to join our team for an upcoming project in **Orlando, Florida**. As a Sheet Metal Mechanic, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and systems, including HVAC ductwork, roofing, and architectural elements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand tools, power tools, and equipment.

- Install HVAC duct systems, roofing materials, and architectural sheet metal products according to project specifications.

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans.

- Inspect installations for quality and adherence to safety and building codes.

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on sheet metal products and systems.

- Collaborate with other construction trades to ensure timely project completion.

- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety procedures and using proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

**Requirements:**

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic in the construction industry.

- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.

- Familiarity with HVAC systems, ductwork, and other sheet metal applications.

- Strong knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.

- Ability to use sheet metal fabrication tools and equipment.

- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks that require standing for long periods.

- Valid driver's license.
