PRODUCTION MANAGER

Responsible for managing the entire Production Department:

Provide support for all production department employees

Oversee a workforce of 300+ employees

Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines

Drive the manufacturing of world class quality

Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime

Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising safety

quality, or integrity

Develop and implement shift operations to achieve departmental objectives

Work closely with supervisory staff to develop and execute a staffing plan

Coordinate and direct daily and weekly reviews of operational plans

Manage and resolve complex personnel problems encountered in the operation

Monitor budgets and explain variances

All other duties as assigned

PREFERRED AND REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years' experience in manufacturing operations (required)

2+ years' experience in a supervisory capacity (required)

Experience in dealing with both internal and external customers

Bachelor's degree (required)

Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift 15 lbs

Ability to stand, reach, bend, pull, push, walk, sit - as needed

Use of both hands for fine manipulation

Use of both hands for simple grasping
