Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and qualified Teacher of the Visually Impaired to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with students who are visually impaired, possess strong communication skills, and have a deep commitment to the success and well-being of their students.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or Special Education, or a related field; Valid teaching certification with endorsement in Visual Impairment (or eligibility to obtain); Knowledge of Braille, orientation and mobility concepts, and assistive technology tools.; Ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities; Excellent problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and colleagues; A passion for empowering students with visual impairments to succeed academically and beyond!

Must have valid driver's license and provide own transportation to travel between sites.
