DEFINITION OF POSITION: Provide guidance and direction to the Yearbook Club to aid in the design, layout and production of the school's annual yearbook.

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Building Assistant Principal REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Successful experience working with middle school age students PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * BA degree in education * Experience and/or appreciation of diverse student population * Current building employee ESSENTIAL JOB-RELATED ACTIVITIES: * Work effectively with middle school students * Take directions and follow through without direct supervision * Work positively, respectfully, and consistently with students * Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with Yearbook Club students * Monitor and supervise student behavior during meetings and events * Manage deadlines and complete final reviews * Possess and practice strong interpersonal skills with a wide variety of people both inside and outside the organization (staff, parents, community members, other agencies, etc.) * Be a positive team builder who works in a collaborative manner * Meet multiple demands in pressure situations and maintain high levels of quality work * Maintain confidentiality * Communicate clearly, both orally and in writing * Regularly demonstrate professionalism in appearance, actions, decisions, and overall performance * Work with minimal supervision and be flexible * Perform other related duties as assigned TERMS OF CONTRACT: * Salary: Stipend Position: $2,703 - $3,486 per school year * Benefits/Leaves: N/A The Pullman School District Board of Directors and the Pullman School District shall provide equal educational opportunity and treatment for all students in all aspects of the academic and activities programs without regard to race, religion, creed, color, national origin, age, honorably-discharged veteran or military status, sex, sexual orientation (including gender expression or identity), marital status, the presence of any sensory, mental or physical disability, participation in the Boy Scouts of America or the use of a trained dog guide or service animal by a person with a disability.
