Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring the laboratory, equipment and other accessories are in good working order.
Essential Job Duties
Responsible for ensuring the laboratory, equipment and other accessories are in good working order.
Ordering consumables and other supplies needed by students and instructors.
Setting up student laboratories and supervising and assisting in cleaning the laboratory and its ancillary rooms.
Retrieval and cleaning of items at the close of the laboratory day and time period of the course.
Moving specimens in and out of containers and cold storage rooms.
Preparing vascular casts, plastinated and other types of specimens as desired by the instructors.
Assisting the instructors in Embalming animals and prosecting and labeling specimens.
Assisting in preparing video programs for teaching purposes.
Ensuring the disposal by incineration of dissected and other cadavers that are no longer usable.
Identifying and reporting malfunctions and/or breakdowns of equipment to physical plant and other pertinent units and following up their repair.
Performing other duties as assigned by the anatomy instructors and department head
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training)
GED/High School Equivalency Certificate and Five years of laboratory experience including handling of samples, animals, cadavers and ordering and stocking of supplies.

Bachelor's degree in Biological/Premedical Sciences or related discipline,
