* Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering * Professional Engineering License * 10-15 Years or Substation Design Related Experience * Requires a comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge and demonstrated excellence in substation/control engineering principals and considerable knowledge of other phases of engineering.

* Must be able to direct, coordinate, and review the work of a staff of engineers, technicians, and designers.

Must have considerable knowledge of economic analysis methods, budgeting procedures, and company policies, rules and regulations.

* Must have a comprehensive knowledge of utility engineering practices and procedures, construction methods and material specifications.

* Uses considerable judgement and originality and solves unusual problems with a high level of independent decision-making.

* May assign and review work of other department staff.

Typically requires 10 years engineering experience including 5 years at the Eng.

II level.

* Employees who promote to this level must have or obtain professional registration within 24 months of job award.
