Your Responsibilities: * Establish a proactive safe culture built on continuous improvement * Maintain equipment in proper working condition through planned and instituted preventative maintenance procedures.
* Oversee equipment spare parts stock inventory, and place orders for new supplies when necessary * Develops timelines for repairs and works to ensure projects stay on schedule * Regular site visits to identify and resolve equipment issues * Prepared and document maintenance logs * Assist with departmental budget estimates and cost of current and future projects.
* Adheres to company safety procedures What you'll need: * In-depth knowledge and skills related to the trade such as hydraulic, pneumatic systems * Planning and leadership abilities * Detect malfunctions through sound and visual observations * Familiarity using various power and hand tools * Attention to detail Education and Experience: * Three years maintenance experience * Welding experience preferred * Experience in repair of metal processing equipment, heavy machinery and trucks * High school diploma or GED equivalent #LI-Onsite
