Position: Medical Technologist

Schedule: Full-time

Hours: Multiple shifts available (Days, Evenings, Nights)

Setting: 200+ bed hospital lab

The Medical Laboratory Scientist conducts advanced laboratory tests that assist in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. The role covers various laboratory areas such as blood banking, chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, and urinalysis, depending on the assigned department. This position demands strong analytical abilities, keen attention to detail, and expertise in handling and maintaining complex laboratory instruments.

Licenses and Certifications

Must have or be eligible for certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Board of Certification (BOC) or the American Medical Technologists (AMT). If not certified at the time of hire, certification must be obtained within 12 months.

Must have proof of ND State license or ND Provisional Permit. Those hired with a provisional permit must acquire the state license within 12 months of starting. Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.

Must provide an official diploma or transcript from the degree-granting institution. Experience Requirements

A clinical internship is required.

Previous experience in a clinical laboratory environment is preferred.
