Position Summary Acuren Inspection is now hiring hard working, dependable Rope Access Painters to work on a project basis to start as soon as possible.
The Technician is responsible for carrying out duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner as assigned by the Supervisor.
Responsibilities * Have a comprehensive knowledge Painting/Blasting • Assist other technicians as required • Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders • Ensure operational safety of all equipment Requirements * Knowledge of coating materials, application techniques, and curing processes • Experience with paint and industrial equipment• Experience using a wet paint gun, hand and power tools, and other painting equipment• The ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings • The ability to read and use coating thickness gages, surface profile gages, dew point meters, soluble salt testers, and hardness or ultrasonic thickness gages * Previous pipeline experience preferred • NCCER Painter certification a plus • NACE certification a plus Benefits * Competitive salary * Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance * 401K Plan * Paid Holidays * Paid Time Off Working Conditions * Outside environment with continuous physical effort, exposure to 5-7 elements/conditions, moderate mental effort, and occasional requests for assistance.
