Title: Adjunct Faculty - Radiography Salary Range: $800 per credit hour Contract Term Length: Not Applicable Standard Hours: Varies Work Location: On-Site FLSA Status: Exempt College: Bluegrass Community & Technical College Campus Location: Bluegrass C&TC - Leestown Campus Department: Radiography Job Summary Provide clinical instruction for first- and second-year radiography students in a hospital and/or clinical setting.

Job Duties: * Working with the clinical coordinator, the clinical instructor must ensure that the specific hospital guidelines are followed and requirements for student clinical instruction are met prior to each clinical rotation.

* Providing students an example of how specific imaging exams are to be performed according to hospital protocol.

* Assigning students daily workloads that will provide opportunities to obtain the necessary clinical experience and completion of check-offs found in Trajecsys, the software used to track student lab/clinical performance as they progress through the program.

* Being available to aid students when difficulties and/or questions arise in providing care.

* Providing students feedback on their performance in a timely manner.

* Providing students an enriched learning environment.

* Verifying and documenting student activities using Trajecsys: * Evaluation/grading of student progress.

* Communicate any student/clinical issues with Program or Clinical Coordinator * Maintaining confidentiality with student records and performance.

Minimum Qualifications: * Current AART license * 2-years experience in clinical area * Approval to provide clinical instruction at host institution Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree in Radiography
