General Surgery/Trauma Nurse Practitioner in Northwest Ohio

A well-established healthcare system in Northwest Ohio is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join its expanding general surgery/trauma team. They are looking for a Nurse Practitioner who is trained as a first assist or willing to be trained. This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a busy Level II Trauma Center alongside a collaborative group of providers delivering high-quality, comprehensive care in a fast-paced setting.

Position Overview:

Mostly Monday-Friday, day position

Full-time role with a mix of clinic, OR, and inpatient duties

First responder to all trauma activations

Provide general surgery consults and coordinate with on-call surgeons

First assist in OR, manage inpatient rounding and admissions

Rotate through outpatient services

Weekend coverage required 1 in 4

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary commensurate with experience

Qualifications:

Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification
