Coordinator of Operational Excellence

Description COORDINATOR OF OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE Responsibility: * Lives and reinforces Safety as a condition in all activities * Serves as the Pilgrim's Management Method subject matter expert for assigned facilities * Leads assigned facility's Management Method efforts by functioning as a business partner with each Method Pillar * Responsible for proactively working with facility management to identify and assess KPI gaps, and lead projects to closure through the use of Operational Excellence tools and methodologies * Delivers effective Management Method training * Demonstrates ownership of core tools * 6S * Writing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures * Statistical Process Control * Root Cause Analysis * Kaizen Events * Leads gap-closure projects and owns project success.

* Update and analyze key metrics for the assigned complex or business unit * Leads self-assessment activities for Management Method.

Education: Undergraduate Degree, (Prefer engineering, science, or business focus) Experience: * 2 - 5 years manufacturing industry experience (preferably in poultry) * At least 1 year in Pilgrim's * Background in ZBB or production Special Skills * Good oral and written communication skills * Strong Excel user * MiniTab experience preferred * Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills * Good internal relationship skills * Resilient & Flexible * Teaching and coaching skills * Hands-on mentality * High level of business acumen * 6 Sigma Green Belt or higher (desired) * Lean Methodology including Waste reduction experience EOE, including disability/vets
