Special Imaging Technologist
Description:
Position Summary: The special imaging technologist assists the Vascular Surgeon to perform a variety of device implants and vascular procedures and shares the responsibility in the acuisition and imaging processing.
They demonstrate the efficient operation of multi-mordality equipment and a variety of image post processing software.
They function as an inventory control monitor and restock/reorder supplies assuring stock is kept at par level.
Position reports directly to the Team Leader and Nurse Manager.Position is day shift with rotation of call and weekend call.
Position Qualification: 1-3 years work related experience Advance technical computer skills as required for technical support specific to image aquisition and post processing (Phillips Equipment, Xcelera, IVUS, FFR, Angiojet etc.) RTR - Radiation Certification with two years of experience
