Interim Team Chair (Maternity Leave Coverage) - PERFECT FOR RETIREES

We are seeking an experienced Team Chair to cover a maternity leave and lead Initial, Re-evaluation, and high-profile Annual IEP Team meetings at the PreK-5 level.

Details: Coverage from mid-November through end of February Monday-Friday availability required (excluding holidays and school vacations) Meetings may be in-person or virtual (possibility to chair remotely when appropriate via Google Meets) Flexible hours, dependent on meeting schedules during the school day (estimating 15-25 hours per week) Would need to review IEPs for final processing to parents Schedule meetings for grades K-2 only and send out corresponding paperwork (can be done electronically) Compensation: $80-$100/hour, based on experience Qualifications: Strong working knowledge of special education law Proven experience chairing IEP Team meetings Ability to collaborate effectively with families, staff, and administrators Knowledge of new IEPs Experience with PowerSchool Special Programs preferred Retirees are strongly encouraged to apply-this is a great opportunity to stay connected and support students and staff If you are a skilled facilitator with the expertise to guide IEP processes and ensure compliance while keeping student needs at the center, we welcome your application.
