LABORATORY TECHNICIAN 1 - Minimum Qualifications Waived

The Position Laboratory Technicians perform standardized technical laboratory procedures requiring knowledge in the life and physical sciences.

PER EXECUTIVE ORDER 2025-002, ALL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN WAIVED FOR THIS POSITION UNTIL DECEMBER 31ST, 2025.

They will prepare a variety of standard culture media Stain and label specimens.

Employees will draw blood and collect tissue samples as well as conduct observations and record test results.

Employees will sterilize and decontaminate equipment, Label, mount and file specimens.

When time is available, employees will prepare equipment, supplies and specimens for testing.

Construct and test laboratory equipment.
