Position: Student Employee Department: University Advancement Classification: Part-time, Non-benefit eligible Rate: IL State minimum wage Duties: This student will be responsible for administrative duties and tasks on a daily basis; managing phone calls, calendar scheduling, greeting individuals from events such as Phonathons, Alumni Achievement Awards, Homecoming, Career Fairs, Scholarship Luncheon Campus Tours, etc.
The individual will represent Benedictine University in the most positive of manners to prospective, former, and current students, clients, suppliers, stakeholders, employers, and the community.
Manage and oversee front office operations; phone calls, e-mails, calendar scheduling, etc.
* Act as University Advancement Liaison across all constituents; students, faculty/staff, employers, alumn * Assist in preparations for University Advancement events; varies from administrative work to physical activity * Attend any and all University Advancement events in support and/or ambassador-type roles.
Required Qualifications: Must be a currently enrolled Benedictine student in good standing.
Exceptional time management & organizational skills/abilities.
Ability to juggle multiple competing deadlines and deliver work in a timely manner.
Knowledgeable and passionate about Benedictine University and speak to the mission and vision.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Use of computer screen, phone and customer service.
May require bending, or sitting for long periods of time.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Training: As a University employee you are required to complete all University-specific and/or OSHA related training to fulfill your job duties.
Specific training will be conducted online or in person.
Employees must complete all trainings required by Benedictine University.
