We are searching for a talented Credentialing Specialist

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

Under the direction of the Director, Medical Staff Services, coordinate the medical staff services provisional and reappointment credentialing and privileging process for the Southcoast Health System and Southcoast Health Network. Coordinate third-party payer credentialing and re-credentialing as outlined by our payer contracts for the Southcoast Health System and Southcoast Health Network. Responsible for the coordination of Medical Staff committees and meetings. Ensure data security and professional confidentiality standards are met. Perform daily functions and projects as assigned by the Director of Medical Staff Services.

A Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist is required within 3 years of eligibility.

Minimum three years related experience required.

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

USD $20.44 - USD $34.87 /Hr.
