Join Our Team as an Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator Kdc/one Columbus New Albany, Ohio, Beauty & Personal Care Manufacturing We're looking for a passionate EHS Specialist who's ready to lead in creating a safe, compliant, and positive work environment for everyone on site.

What You'll Be Doing: Lead and participate in health & safety audits, track corrective actions, and monitor trends.

Maintain and improve EHS databases, compliance tracking systems, and documentation.

Train site leaders on protocols for regulatory visits (OSHA, EPA, Fire Dept., etc.). Build strong relationships across departments to foster a positive safety culture.

Develop and implement corrective/preventative actions to improve safety and environmental conditions.

Conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis, and communicate findings.

Support job hazards and environmental assessments and process improvements.

Stay current on regulatory changes and drive updates to policies and procedures.

Collaborate with Technical Trainers to develop EHS training materials and SOPs.

Deliver engaging safety training sessions for new hires, annual refreshers, and shift meetings.

Maintain confidentiality around sensitive employee and regulatory information.

Support off-shifts regularly and jump in wherever needed to keep safety first.

What We Need from You: High School Diploma or GED required; AAS in Environmental Technology or related field preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.

Certifications preferred: OSHA 30, HAZWOPER 40, RCRA, and Hazardous Waste Management.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, FDA GMPs, OSHA Safety Requirements.

Skills in problem-solving, coaching, prioritizing tasks, and staying organized under pressure.

Able to communicate clearly, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to change Comfortable presenting to groups, writing SOPs, and working independently or as part of a team.

Willing to wear PPE, work overtime/weekends, and be on call for emergencies.

Working Conditions: Office-based with regular time spent on the production floor.

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.

A mix of sitting, walking, standing, and light physical activity.

Exposure to motorized equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.

Climate-controlled environment with moderate to loud noise levels depending on location.
