Description:
Primary Responsibilities for this Bariatric Navigator position include:
Meet with new surgery consults: Discuss insurance coverage, program requirements, and any specific needs related to the insurance process.
Meet with new consults: Discuss insurance coverage, program requirements, and any specific needs related to the insurance process.
Provide patient education: Ensure patients have a clear understanding of the requirements and are available to answer any questions they may have throughout the process.
Schedule appointments and coordinate surgeries
Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and medical facilities.
Document medical necessities.
Experience/Education
High School Diploma or GED
At leave two years of experience with insurance benefits/pre-certifications/surgery scheduling is preferred.
Customer Service experience preferred.
