The Opportunity We are seeking a Campus Giving Coordinator to support our Valor Kyle community in building a strong culture of philanthropy and community engagement.
This is an ideal role for a parent or someone deeply connected to the school community who has experience in fundraising, events, sales, or nonprofit relationship management.
This position is full-time, primarily on-campus (at least 80% in-person), and year-round with some flexibility for remote/flex work.
It will require occasional evening and weekend hours, especially during events or campaign pushes.
What You'll Do Fundraising & Donor Engagement * Manage the annual Invest in the Vision Campaign ("IVC") by stewarding and soliciting gifts from current families * Assist in the execution of capital campaigns on your campus, as needed * Build authentic relationships with families, grandparents, and donors in the school community * Draft and send thank you notes, donor updates, and other handwritten or email communications * Utilize telephone and text communications to schedule in person meetings, and for donor stewardship and cultivation purposes * Track and record gifts and interactions using DonorPerfect and other platforms * Generate reports on fundraising and goal progress and for purposes of meeting the goals of the position * Maintain a portfolio of major donors and prospects, ensuring regular, personalized engagement and stewardship to strengthen relationships and encourage first-time or continued support Events & Community Engagement * Facilitate in-person solicitations for support using materials and methodologies provided * Plan and execute key events such as Grandparents Day and New Family Orientation * Serve as the emcee or host of events which may include public speaking and making an appeal for support to a group * Collaborate closely with campus and network staff to ensure smooth and mission-aligned execution Collaboration & Execution * Follow established fundraising strategies, scripts, timelines, and messaging provided by the Valor network * Participate in regular training and coaching sessions * Be accountable for campus fundraising results and participation goals * Serve as a visible and friendly presence on campus, helping support a culture of giving, celebration, and connection What You'll Bring Required Experience & Skills * Formal fundraising experience is strongly preferred, but not required-we welcome candidates with transferable skills from event planning, sales, nonprofit work, relationship management, etc.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook and Excel); comfort learning CRM platforms like DonorPerfect * Basic familiarity with Canva is a plus * Valor considers the unique combination of each candidate's education and relevant experience when evaluating the qualifications for the role.
