Student Success: Serve as a Student Success coach to designated students as well as provide walk-in support for students in need Assists with degree audit adjustments as needed.
Qualifications: * Master's degree (M.
A.) or equivalent preferred; or one to two years related experience and\/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Ability to understand, communicate with and effectively interact with people across cultures.
Possesses a positive attitude towards cultural differences.
Willing to gain knowledge of different cultural practices and world views.
* To perform this job successfully, an individual should have excellent skills in the Microsoft suite of products, inDesign, Canva, and social media platforms.
* Ability to respond effectively to the sensitive inquiries or complaints.
Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.
Ability to effectively present information to a wide range of constituents.
Ability to facilitate discussion groups and workshops; ability to coordinate events; ability to update and maintain social media presence and organizational listservs.
* This position requires the ability and\/or skill to: work closely and professionally with others as part of a team, be flexible, pay attention to detail, work without supervision and demonstrate considerable initiative, communicate professionally through both verbal and written means, work well with individuals from diverse backgrounds, manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, establish departmental goals and priorities, contribute to Capital University's mission and vision.
