Job Description

LewisGale Medical Center is seeking to employ an acute care vascular focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will be responsible for conducting inpatient and outpatient evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as well as maintaining patient medical records. Additionally, the APP will consult with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualified Candidates:

• Current certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Clinical Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care, or Physician Assistant

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

• Licensure to practice as a Clinical Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Virginia

• Legal US resident
