Provide support as directed by designated supervisor.

The Videoboard Operator position's key responsibilities include working as part of a team that produces video content and operates videoboards in multiple venues for sporting events and produces videos for promotion and fan experience.

This position assists with organizing and instituting the creating of schedules, coordinating video shoots, and all media-related activity.

This person will assist the club sports media staff with video editing, production of shows, and help with filming Club Sports events as needed.

This position reports to the Director of Video and Media and the Video Coordinator of Club Sports.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities 1.

This position produces content year-round to support sporting events (video board) and web informational needs.

Projects include promotional videos, video packages, still graphics, motion graphics, social media support, and videoboard content.

2.

Workloads are determined by the Director of Video in Media and the Video Coordinator to determine which projects should be planned for creation and what priorities should be put in place.

Once priorities and deadlines are established, projects are assigned based on capacity.

3.

Assist with the content created for video boards located at Club Sports campus venues.

This includes still, animated, and video content created exclusively for the video board as well as content that is designed to be used in multiple platforms, such as social media and the web.

Must also help with loading and testing content to be sure it is in the correct format and that it plays correctly prior to the start of the event.

Creating and editing promotional videos for teams, recaps from Club Sports Events, and interviews for updates to interactive/video experiences on Club Sports websites.

5.

Assists in Organizing & Coordinating video shoots.

6.

Setting up video equipment for video shoots.

7.

Create, produce, and edit recaps and other video content that may be used for the videoboard or the Club Sports media pages.

8.

Remains up to date of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services, and leading industry performance benchmarks.

9.

Work effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU's mission.

10.

Perform and execute other job-related tasks as assigned by the Director of Video and Media and the Video Coordinator to allow flexibility in assigned tasks, job function, and adjusted goals.

Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies High School diploma.

At least one year of video and editing experience.

Strong organizational experience is required.

Well-developed communications skills.

Working knowledge of the production process from start to finish.

Ability to use Adobe Creative Cloud programs.

Ability to use a camera and other film-related equipment for video shoots.
