Surgical Technologist (CVOR) - Salem, VA

Schedule: Full-time Days (Rotating Weekends)

Shift Options: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist - CVOR to join a leading acute care team. The role involves providing direct surgical support, demonstrating proficiency with instrumentation, and assisting in procedures including C-sections. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative surgical environment, maintain strong attention to detail, and ensure the integrity of the operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Scrub for C-sections and demonstrate knowledge of surgical instrumentation.

Register and pre-register patients and process information accurately.

Perform infant testing and support tasks as directed by the RN.

Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program (or state grandfathered).

Current Surgical Technician license in Virginia (required).

BLS certification within 90 days of employment.

Experience:

Prior surgical technologist experience preferred.

1-2 years of scrub or hospital experience preferred.

OR Techs will be considered if meeting education/licensure requirements.

Compensation:

OR Tech: $24.87 - $29.85 - $34.82 per hour

CVOR Tech: $27.36 - $32.83 - $38.30 per hour
