The Host & Cashier is responsible for creating a smooth and positive guest experience by greeting guests, managing seating and processing payments efficiently.
Duties: * Sincerely greets and thanks each guest.
* Inform guests of hours/days of operation, all coupons and specials.
* Determine guest needs, provide information on seating status, take names and quote wait times accurately.
* Seats guests in the proper order of arrival.
* Accurate use of the dine-time seating system.
* Know all table numbers and the various sections of the restaurant.
* Accurate use of the POS system to close checks using a variety of payment methods.
* Balance a bank with a high level of accuracy.
* Completes all side work requirements.
* Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests and employees.
Qualifications: * One or more years' previous host/cashier experience is preferred.
* Must be available to work any day of the week and any shift.
* Must be able to repeatedly lift 15 lbs to chest.
* Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Must be able to speak and understand English.
