Warehouse/Stores Operative

Salary Basic £25,750pa + Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate – paid on any hours worked after 40h

25 days holiday a year plus statutory bank holidays and Christmas shutdown

Late Shift – Mon – Thurs 13:00-22:00 & Fri 11:00-20:00

Night Shift – Sun-Thurs 22:00-07:00 (Additional £15 per nightshift worked)

Richard Austin Alloys Ltd deal in the storage and distribution of a large range of Stainless Steel and Aluminium products. Our head office is based in Glasgow and the business trades from 7 principal locations employing circa 350 staff with a group yearly turnover in excess of £200m.

Role Responsibilities but not limited to;-

Order picking in a safe & efficient manner

Loading and unloading lorries

Restocking

General warehouse duties, including regular cleaning of work areas

Using machinery (buzz saw, band saw)

We are currently recruiting for the following shifts only:

Late Shift – Mon – Thurs & Fri

Night Shift – Sun-Thurs (Additional £15 per nightshift worked)

Essential/Desirable Skills:-

Counterbalance FLT licence would be an advantage

Good time keeping

A willingness to learn

Possess an excellent attitude

Good attendance record

Forklift & warehouse training will be provided if needed.
