Job Description:
The Senior Oncology Product Specialist is responsible for driving sales, market access, and brand growth of the company’s oncology portfolio within Lebanon. The role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), key opinion leaders (KOLs), hospitals, and institutions to ensure optimal positioning and adoption of oncology therapies. The specialist will provide in-depth scientific knowledge, market insights, and patient-focused solutions to support healthcare providers and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve sales and market share objectives for the oncology portfolio in assigned territory.
Develop and execute territory action plans aligned with company strategy and brand objectives.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with oncologists, hematologists, pharmacists, nurses, and decision-makers in hospitals and cancer centers.
Organize and conduct scientific presentations, product detailing, and educational sessions for HCPs.
Identify, engage, and collaborate with KOLs to support clinical adoption and advocacy.
Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and treatment trends to provide actionable insights to management.
Support market access initiatives, tender processes, and reimbursement activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and local regulatory requirements.
Mentor and support junior product specialists when needed.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus).
Minimum +2 years of proven experience in oncology or specialty care sales in Lebanon.
Strong track record of achieving sales targets in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
Skills & Competencies:
Deep scientific understanding of oncology products, treatment pathways, and patient management.
Strong network with oncologists, hematologists, hospitals, and institutions in Lebanon.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to analyze data, market trends, and competitor activities.
High level of customer focus, integrity, and compliance orientation.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Other Requirements:
Fluency in Arabic and English (French is an advantage).
Valid driving license and willingness to travel across Lebanon.
