ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN

General Shale, Inc., the nation’s leading manufacturer of brick and masonry products, is seeking an Electronics Technician for our manufacturing facility in Watsontown Pa.

Responsibilities will include:

Tasks such as basic wiring of industrial equipment,

Maintaining/troubleshooting plant electrical systems and automated equipment

Performing scheduled preventative maintenance

Modifying/ updating software and equipment as needed

Required to be inserted into an on-call rotation on off shifts/weekends

Primary software and control equipment is Siemens. Applicants should possess and demonstrate a working knowledge of:

Minimum 5 Years of Industrial Electronics Experience

The National Electrical Code

Motor Control Circuits

Variable Frequency Drives

HMI’s

Networking

Programmable Logic Controllers

Siemens Software

Allen Bradley Automation & Programming Software with an emphasis on RSLogix 500 & 5000

Control Logix

Factory Talk ME and RSLinx.

An Associate’s Degree in Electronics or related field with experience as an industrial electrician is desirable.
