Title:Project Process Engineer

KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Process Engineer to support the Abadi LNG project, one of the largest projects in Asia. This project will provide front-end design (FEED) for onshore liquefied natural gas facilities & will have a peak production capacity targets of 9.5 million tons per annum of LNG and 150 million standard cubic feet per day of pipeline gas. The Abadi LNG project has been designated a project of national strategic importance by the Indonesian government.

Responsibilities:

Perform all conventional aspects of process engineering

Work as part of a team and show leadership capabilities managing areas or systems within projects

Develop heat and material balances using process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS and process flow diagrams (PFDs)

Piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) development

Generate fluid hydraulic calculations for line sizing and formulation of process data for in-line instruments and loads for rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines

Produce process design simulations, Design Basis’, PFDs, Utility Load Lists, Equipment List, equipment sizing, and leading or conducting process studies

Cross project coordination

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field

2 + years of directly related experience, typically ranging from 3 – 7 years of experience

Proficiency with typical process engineering calculations such as hydraulics, relief valves, design pressures and temperatures, vessel, and tower sizing, etc

Oil & Gas industry project experience

Field experience
