Maintenance Technician
Company is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment and machinery used in manufacturing operations. This hands-on role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs
Communicate with team members and customers to provide status updates and technical support
Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve problems
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment
Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial manufacturing setting
Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with experience in hydraulic systems
Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Physical ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
Familiarity with computer-based maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred
Knowledge of PLCs and automated control systems is a plus
