Senior Project Engineer

mselect is looking to hire a Senior Project Engineer for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant Oil and Gas industry experience in a similar role. Fluency in English is a must.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for managing Process Engineering activities which include supporting day day-to-day operation of the plant, managing the concept/FEED/EPC design work for asset development Projects carried out by Contractors and that are managed in-house, providing all asset-related input to the major Project team. Key accountabilities include providing process engineering support and coordination with other disciplines to ensure Technical integrity is maintained at a high standard aligned with OI requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology

Minimum of 10 years O&G Offshore experience

Well-versed in Simulation, equipment sizing, PFD/PEFS, steady and transient flow analysis, Control narratives and C&E, etc

Experienced in preparing process technical reports

Experienced in risk management and close-out reports

Recognized expertise and leadership in Process Engineering Experience in operational troubleshooting, process risk management and providing necessary support to construction & commissioning methods

Leadership and interpersonal skills to lead the Process Engineering Team

Working knowledge of company business processes and regulatory requirements

Ability to analyze operational issues and troubleshooting skills

Managing and measuring work using appropriate metrics and key performance indicators
