STABLEHANDS - AFTERNOONS & SUNDAYS

We have opportunities available for motivated and reliable Stable Hands with great horse handling skills and a love for horses at our Morphettville Stables.

Some of the tasks for this position may include but are not limited to: Brush and groom, feed, handle, and exercise horses, and lead them to their stables Assemble, prepare, and store horse gear as directed Clean and maintain stables and training equipment, preparing, and storing bedding Loading and unloading horse walkers Saddling horses for track work Swimming horses General stable duties (sweeping & cleaning) We would prefer applicants to have experience working with horses as you may be required to handle young horses and colts.

You will need to be physically fit enough to perform this work and be able to carry out instructions by being self motivated and proactive.

You would also have your own vehicle and current drivers licence.

Hours of work: Monday to Saturday AM shift - 3.30am to 8.30am (approx) PM shift - 1pm to 4pm Sundays AM Shift- 6am to 9am PM Shift - 1pm to 4pm Permanent & Casual Positions Available based on the Horse and Greyhound Training Award If you are interested in being part of the Stokes Racing Team please email us at for more information
