The Commercial Competency Lead will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating learning programs focused on enhancing key commercial competencies of medical & pharmacy managers, representatives, and the marketing function within Polpharma Group. This role aims to support business growth through impactful and continuous employee development.

Working under the leadership of the International Rx Growth Head, the International Commercial Competency Lead acts as the functional leader of commercial trainers at the group level, ensuring alignment between global direction and local execution, and collaborating across commercial functions. This is a group-level role, operating across multiple markets and business units, with strategic impact on the entire organization

Your responsibilities:

Develop and implement a commercial competency assessment model across Polpharma markets.

Design and deploy global training strategies for medical and pharmaceutical sales and marketing teams.

Conduct needs assessments to identify competency gaps and training requirements across regions.

Create and deliver engaging learning programs, including workshops, e-learning modules, and blended learning formats.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training content aligns with product strategies, regulatory standards, and market needs.

Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using KPIs and feedback mechanisms.

Lead the implementation of omnichannel learning platforms and digital tools to enhance accessibility and engagement.

Ensure compliance with international pharmaceutical regulations and internal policies in all training initiatives.

Support talent development and succession planning through competency frameworks and career pathing.

Build and mentor Rx Growth medical & sales teams, ensuring category leadership and capability transfer.

Establish a Commercial Competency community of practice to secure knowledge sharing and alignment across markets.

Our expectations:

Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and managing training programs in the pharmaceutical industry

Strong understanding of medical and pharmaceutical sales and marketing functions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across cultures and geographies

Proficiency in digital learning platforms and omnichannel training delivery

Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training impact and adapt strategies accordingly

Knowledge of international pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards

Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives

Fluency in English; additional languages (especially Russian) are a plus
