As the Cardiology & Diabetology TA Strategy Lead, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the global strategy focusing on these therapeutic areas (and beyond) across Polpharma markets. Your mission is to drive innovation, market expansion, and launch excellence, ensuring alignment between global direction and local execution. Through deep market insights and cross-functional collaboration, you will position Polpharma as a leading player in Cardiology and Diabetology, delivering sustainable and profitable growth.

This is a group-level role, operating across multiple markets and business units, with strategic impact on the entire organization

Your responsibilities:

Define global vision and value proposition focusing on Cardiology & Diabetology (and beyond) based on patient needs.

Develop a 5-year growth roadmap covering innovation, value, and market expansion.

Analyze therapeutic potential, market trends, and competition to guide strategy focusing on Cardiology & Diabetology and other priority TAs

Build and manage an innovation pipeline from adjacent categories and emerging science.

Lead cross-functional ideation with R&D, Medical, Regulatory, Packaging, Insights, and Marketing.

Prioritize product launches for maximum impact.

Align local innovations with global strategy.

Create global launch frameworks and campaign assets.

Support countries with training and toolkits for consistent execution. Monitor launches, share learnings, and refine strategies.

Identify high-potential markets and assess readiness and viability.

Develop go-to-market strategies and business cases.

Enable market readiness through knowledge transfer and capability building.

Own TA P&L, translating strategy into revenue and outcomes.

Track performance using KPIs and brand metrics; adjust as needed.

Act as global TA expert, integrating local insights into strategy.

Build a global community of practice to share best practices and accelerate innovation.

Drive cross-functional collaboration for strategic alignment and execution.

Requirements:

Proven experience in international pharmaceutical marketing, ideally within generics.

Deep understanding of Cardiology and Diabetology therapeutic areas.

Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and project management skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead virtual, cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.

Experience in portfolio management and lifecycle planning.

Proficiency in interpreting market data and translating insights into actionable strategies.

Excellent cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills.

Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.

High level of business acumen and results orientation.
