Job Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department settings.
Work within a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital environment.
Prepare and administer contrast media; start peripheral IVs as needed.
Handle a wide variety of imaging studies, including:
Head/Neck: Head CTs with/without contrast
Chest: Chest CTs with/without contrast
Abdomen & Pelvis: With/without contrast
Spine & Musculoskeletal: Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar, and trauma imaging
Special Procedures: Brain perfusion, transplant studies, coronary CTA
Float to different units across the health system as needed.
Operate Siemens scanners and utilize PACS for image management.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team in an acute care environment.
Provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 1 year of recent CT Tech experience
Experience in a teaching hospital setting (required)
Ability to work independently on night shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled
Proficient in Siemens CT systems and PACS (preferred)
Strong skills in outpatient, ER, and inpatient settings
Capable of performing and assisting with specialized procedures (e.g., myelography, arthrography) - preferred but not required
Must be able to float across departments as needed
Experience with NICU/PICU/Adult ICU preferred
