Sr. Web Developer

• Responsible for building online seasonal experiences related to the PINK brand

• Ownership of all development aspects of single page web applications

• Work with creative teams to deliver front-ends with high fidelity to comps

• Participate in transition from current backend architecture to microservices

• Build and maintain tools for business users as projects require

• Think creatively about UX/UI in relation to development

• Continuously seek ways to improve both technology and processes

TECHNOLOGY/PROCESS EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

• Must have experience building customer facing UIs

• Must have experience working with animation on the web (think games, and game-like UIs)

• Is not afraid of the words "pixel perfect"

• React/Redux or similar frameworks

• Familiar with Node, NPM

• Sass/CSS

• Front-end build pipelines (e.g. Webpack, Babel)

• Consuming RESTful APIs Middle

• Go, Groovy, Java

• OpenAPI 3.0 or similar

• Profiling, optimizing, performance testing, troubleshooting server side applications

• Authoring RESTful APIs

• Docker, Containerization

• Microservices Architecture Back

• MySQL or similar Processes

• Automated Testing, Continuous Integration, Continuous Development

• Familiarity with Atlassian tool suite

• Follow and contribute to evolving agile/devops processes

• TDD, test-authoring

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated 5+ years of practical web development experience

• Excellent communication and follow up skills; can communicate technical projects to partners at all levels and geographies

• Sample portfolio (code or public facing web build) is required

• Bachelor s Degree is preferred

• Experience working for high-end brands or other environment with very high standards for presentation layer is a plus; Ecommerce experience is a plus
