St John Paul II College (JPC) is a Catholic, co-educational secondary school serving families in the north of Canberra. The Assistant Principal, Strategy and Staff plays a crucial role in school leadership, aiding the Principal in collaborative decision-making, goal planning, implementation, and evaluation. This involves overseeing strategic execution, monitoring progress, and ensuring adjustments for continuous improvement through professional development and data-informed decisions to enhance school effectiveness and student achievement.

Qualifications
Bachelor or Master of Teaching.
Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance.
Postgraduate qualification in Religious Education or Theological Studies or the willingness to undertake.
To teach and lead Religious Education in a Catholic school, you must:
Be a practising Catholic, connected to a parish or other worshipping community
Must be a qualified Teacher with a minimum of five years' experience
Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest; and
Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
