The primary responsibility of this position is to provide EHS support to our team in order to respond to both immediate needs and focus on continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Respond to the immediate safety needs of the team.
Provide initial response to EHS incidents.
Participate in Incident Review meetings.
Lead and track recycling and waste disposal.
Facilitate facility wide EHS inspections and schedules.
Help establish and grow the company's safety culture and business through daily interaction with associates by actively listening and following through on projects.
Ensure day-to-day compliance with EHS policies and regulations while focusing on continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Health and Safety or 3+ years of relevant work experience without a Bachelor's degree.
Possess a high level of attention to detail and organization.
Ability to communicate within all levels of the organization and with all internal and external stakeholders.
Maintains a positive attitude and displays proactive habits.
