Job Summary The Senior Organizational Development Consultant is responsible for understanding organizational talent needs and developing and delivering programs and solutions that support business objectives.

The role will work with HR Business Partners and other HR Centers of Expertise to ensure collaboration, partnership, and stakeholder satisfaction.

The incumbent will be accountable for the programs' effectiveness.

Success should be achieved through disciplined processes and planning, robust and clear resources, comprehensive yet concise communications, and establishing and leveraging ongoing feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement.

What You'll Do: Program and Process Ownership * Ensure the assigned program(s) are in support of and alignment with business goals * Define the program's end to end process (i.e.

how the program is executed and who is responsible for what) * Ensure easy to use and access feedback mechanisms are in place * Make ongoing recommendations for continuous improvement, using data insights wherever possible * Manage program-related projects in accordance with AEP HR practices & processes * Leverage metrics to monitor and report out on program success and effectiveness * Identify and administer governance models, as needed * Manage vendor relationships, as needed, with manager oversight * Seek connections across Integrated Talent Management teams where possible to deliver maximum value to the organization Resources & Communications Ownership * Build and maintain appropriate resources (Managers, Employees, BHR, CoE SOP) * Ensure an inclusive lens with partner oversight.

* As needed, educate Business HR to support the programs and processes (e.g.

training, office hours, etc.) * Communicate program strategy, activities, and other pertinent information to targeted audiences.

This includes drafting communications and partnering with the corporate communications team, as needed and identifying the most impactful communication channels and strategies.

* Seek connections across Integrated Talent Management teams where possible to deliver maximum value to the organization.

Technology Ownership * Act as the business owner of related systems, software, and technology platforms * Work with HRIS/IT partners to ensure systems best enable programs/processes * Participate in any and all testing activities, as needed (new system implementations, system enhancements, releases, etc.) * Seek connections across Integrated Talent Management teams where possible to deliver maximum value to the organization What We're Looking For: Education: * Bachelor's degree required Work Experience: * Must have at least 8 years' experience supporting enterprise-wide programs in an HR capacity * Must be able to independently manage work while meeting agreed upon deadlines, including multiple projects at one time * Must have strong presentation skills Preferred Qualifications: * Master's degree in an HR discipline (e.g.

Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, etc.) preferred * Strong understanding of HR Information Systems, specifically Workday preferred * PHR, SHRM, PMP or other related professional certifications preferred * Experience writing enterprise-wide communications preferred * Experience working in a CoE model preferred Capabilities: * Performance success will be measured not only by role-specific performance objectives but also by standard job capabilities & expectations * Adaptability * Work Standards * Building Customer Loyalty * Technical & Professional Knowledge * Lives the AEP Values What You'll Get: Salary Grade 8: $96,110.00 - $115,330.00 In addition to a competitive compensation, AEP offers a unique comprehensive benefits package that aims to support and enhance the overall well-being of our employees.
