Description
POSITION SUMMARY:The shipper is responsible for distributing products and assisting in warehouse operations to ensure shipments are accurate, efficient, and safe.
Job Duties:
Order Picking and Shipping
Maintain on-hand stock packaging supplies and inventory.
Ensure products are staged adequately in designated areas for shipment.
Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently.
Manually move stock and other materials and perform other unskilled labor.
Look for ways to improve quality, efficiency, safety, and workflow.
Meets productivity standards. Completes work in a timely manner.
Reports on potentially unsafe conditions.
Run Waves accurately and ensure all labels print out for waves
Works with supervisor when level 4 Leads are out to accomplish goals.
Quality and Accuracy:
Manage Microsoft Office and office systems such as ERP (Oracle E1) and WMS (Scale) to ensure accuracy throughout the process.
Review and reply to email communications in a timely and professional manner.
Pick, pack, and ship accurately and efficiently to meet company and customer standards.
Work with RF scanners and maintain sign-in and sign-out RF log.
Ensure that the merchandise is correct before being sent out for shipment. Secure the accuracy of this process by picking and scanning one order at a time.
Safety Compliance Specific Job Duties:
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
Practice housekeeping inside the warehouse by following 5S standards.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse/workstation, adhering to safety and compliance standards.
Expected to participate in safety meetings or training sessions.
When the job requires it, employees must wear appropriate PPE gear.
Qualifications
Education and Training
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Have a working knowledge of ERP and WMS systems.
Preferred knowledge of Oracle E1, Manhattan Scale
Preferred knowledge ofRF Scanners
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Accomplishment of Dunlop's Shipper Level 1, 2, and 3 Career Path.

Physical Demand
When needed, an employee must be able to perform the following physical requirements:
Ability to stand for a period of 8-10 hrs. and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
Frequent walking, bending, pulling, and reaching with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to sit, talk, or hear.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that is not climate-controlled, with varying temperatures.
