Deputy Manager – Redcar

Salary: Negotiable (DOE)

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected care provider with over 20 years’ experience in the sector. With a new package recently awarded in Redcar, they are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager and play a key role in building and leading a new team.

The Role:

Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day operations of the service

Supervise, train, and develop staff, ensuring quality care delivery

Help manage compliance, audits, and CQC requirements

Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and scheduling

Act as a point of contact for staff, families, and external stakeholders

Step up and take responsibility in the absence of the Registered Manager

Criteria:

Previous experience in a supervisory or deputy role within health & social care

Good understanding of CQC standards and compliance

Strong organisational and people-management skills

Ability to build and motivate a reliable team of carers

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Location: Redcar
